Pet Voyeurism and Rick Santorum

Ever wonder what your pets think when they see you having sex? Do they know what it is you're doing? Does it excite them? Upset them? Do they feel like a kid who accidentally walks in on his or her parents?

According to a textbook human interest story in yesterday's Houston Chronicle, response varies from species to species and pet to pet. However, male pets are often protective of their lady owners when some Aramis-reeking lothario invades its territory, especially if the pet sleeps in the woman's bed.

By the way, Senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa.), Mr. "Man-On-Dog" Himself," is Jon Stewart's guest on The Daily Show Monday.

I imagine the beasts sigh, and say, "See, neutering solves those sorts of behavioral problems."

Greetings, Oh Beet-ly one! I have injested quantities of high test cocoa ( Vahlrona! ) so an above-normal level of spazzyness has been achieved.

Yes, where I work, in the lab, you know, I think it would be amusing to make foil bags of "Vampire Chow". I could just make labels on the computer and stick them on Capri Suns.
I'll put them on a shelf and see how soon anyone notices.

I saw The Heart Project play at the Ritz the other night-- They were so much fun, and Stan's dad was there to videotape them.
He said, "Oh, I've videotaped his performances ever since he was a little kid."

Before them was Toof, which is this one guy called either Troy or Trey. He was lewd and drunk, and his songs were so ridiculously obscene I laughed 'til I drooled.

After his set, he went up to a seat in a balcony and passed out in some woman's lap. She seemed rather alarmed.

Did you hear that the famous draped statue has been undraped?
Now that Ashcroft is gone, the breast will again be seen.
I avoid all news sources, so, not surprisingly, sometimes I don't find out stuff for a while.

Weren't you the one that recommended Devandra Banhart? Or was it someone else that night?
At any rate, yes, quite good!

Oh, and in Buffet news, I tried that Thai buffet on Manchaca across from the library, the one that was recommended in the Chronicle a week or two ago. They were really, really nice, but the food wasn't anything like as hot as it should have been. They did have stuff to add to food to make it hotter, but I think I'd like it better if it was hot already. I think ordering off the menu, and telling them to make it hot, would work better.

I think the cocoa is wearing off... au revoir!
